This is another great site, you may need to navigate it by clicking on 'next page' or other highlighted text (even if it is not fully highlighted), the navigation bar didnt seem to work for me. Esp check out any where there may be picts of organisms, .....

Great source.
I looked at the first site and got just what you described. Good extensive info, clear wording but not wordy.
